Agroforestry, what is applies in France?
France is the agricultural power house of Europe and supplies the EU with a fifth of all its food. The French government wants 50% of all farms to adopt agroforestry by 2025. Agroforestry is not new, its an ancient practice, but its getting new modern lease of life in France at least, as we can see here.
Can this ancient farming method be used in the UK? Adam Henson finds out on Countryfile this day, as Countryfile celebrates its 30th anniversary (on episode 1,482) in the UK.
